See what others had to say

Our charities had a fabulous experience at the Nuclear Wild Forest venue on Sunday.  Thanks to Sam, Tracey, and Vanessa for safely leading our two teams of 40 excited hospital staff and supporters around the exceptionally muddy course.  All our runners had a fantastic time with squeals of delight, a few tears of emotion when a fear was conquered , but mostly two hours of tough muddy challenges and hilarious banter. The laughter was infectious and Wild Forest delivered a fun truly filled event;  we have already been asked when the next one will be.   Thank you all for making our first muddy fundraiser such a brilliant experience.

They raised over £9,000 for their charity.

King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity – October 2024

A huge thank you for such an amazing day yesterday, our teams really did enjoy it.  They have all had nothing but praise for you both in the way you guided, pushed, cajoled, and just got stuck in with helping them, no matter what level of ability. You are both amazing, I don’t know how you have the stamina to do it every day either.

Thank you

“We have worked with Sam and the team at Wild Forest for the past two years, when we have put on our charity event.  Sam and the team couldn’t be more helpful, and, on both occasions, it has been straight forward with Sam suggesting the right course for our participants. Communication prior to and on the day is all very straight forward and the team are really understanding and helpful in encouraging people around the course.  Everyone who has taken part has had such a great experience and have all said they are up for doing it again”.

Thankyou from The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation

The experience I have had working with Nuclear Races has been fabulous. As a newbie to my company, I joined the planning stages of our Mud Trial half way through, but Sam was so helpful in guiding me through what to expect on the day, and how we needed to prepare. The EY Foundation has been working with Nuclear Races for a few years now, and it is clear to see why; the attention to details, being able to accommodate all of our needs in relation to adhering to our company health & safety expectations, and regular advice/communication to help set up our annual event is exactly why I want to continue our relationship. Sam and her team look to make sure every participant has the best day, and going from the feedback we have received from them we expect our 2023 event to increase in numbers and be the best ever.

We had yet another fun-filled day with the Nuclear Races team for the St Clare Hospice ‘Muddy Mayhem’ event. We had a mixture of abilities with the group and Sam & Tracy ensured that we catered for everyone and all our participants had a great day. We can’t wait to come back again next year!

Thank you to Nuclear Wild Forest for a great afternoon. It was a pleasure working with Sam. Her enthusiasm and support in arranging our event was really appreciated especially in the challenging circumstances presented by Covid-19. The teens had a great time, raised money for charity and were delighted to get wet and muddy!

Project ImpACT – July 2020

A HUGE thank you to Nuclear Races for hosting the Saint Francis Hospice Mission Mud 2.0 event.  On behalf of the Fundraising, Events and Marketing teams, we would like to share just how wonderful and well planned the #SFH event was!  Nuclear Wild Forest provided an enjoyable, challenging and wild course for our participants and have helped us to raise a lot of money for local people with life limiting illnesses! All whilst having FUN!  Thank you to all the team for your help and support! We cannot recommend Wild Forest enough ?

March 2020

Our City Against Hunger flagship corporate charity event has taken place at Wild Forest for the last two years. All participants enjoyed the course with challenging and fun obstacles. The facilities on site allowed us to organise a great celebration party afterwards. We are really grateful to Sam and all the team who are great partners to work with going an extra mile to ensure the success of the event.

Hunger Project – September 2019

Just wanted to say thank you for having us, it was a great day out with colleagues from work.
The staff members were brilliant, they have a great sense of humour whilst going around each obstacle with you and they made the event much more enjoyable.
Considering it was only a taster session we got so much mud, so much water and there was plenty of laughter throughout. Certainly a day to remember and value for money.
I have only had good feedback from the rest of the group too and I’m sure we will be back later this year. An amazing experience overall and I highly recommend this place.

Nuclear Races delivers everything they promise and more! We chose the 5k muddy obstacle run for our annual trainee development day in October 2018 and I’m not sure we are going to top the experience! Our 90 management trainees (18 – 24 year olds) have described the event as ‘by far the best to date’, ‘awesome’ and ‘truly EPIC’…and they are a challenging bunch to please! From the initial enquiry, pre-event preparation and organisation/delivery on the day the Nuclear Races team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran like clockwork. The on-course marshals were brilliant and very generous with their encouragement and support for everyone, injecting confidence in even the most nervous of participants. Many of our trainees completed obstacles they were convinced would be unachievable for them at the start of the day. If you want something to motivate, bond, challenge, exhilarate, engage and reward staff (or any group) then I highly recommend Nuclear Races. We will definitely be back.

Just wanted to drop you a note to say a big THANK YOU to you, Tracey and Lisa for looking after us so well yesterday, everybody loved it….great for team building.

Loved both Tracey and Lisa…..great banter, atmosphere & great feedback from everybody. 😊

Ampersand Hotel

Thank you to Nuclear races and its team for hosting City Against Hunger 2018. All of our participants who completed the course said about how much they enjoyed the variety of different obstacles, however the Deathslide seemed to be a particular favourite. The Nuclear Races team was great to work with and extremely helpful in the lead up of the event as they were able to cater to our needs and supply us with all the right equipment to ensure the smooth running of our event and after party.

City Against Hunger

Wow! What an incredible experience! Our corporate event couldn’t have gone better and our clients thoroughly enjoyed the day. Your help and guidance was invaluable and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for an awesome day.

A HUGE THANK YOU for our mud trail event on the 18th. It was absolutely brilliant – the feedback we’ve had has been amazing (see a few from our survey below) and everyone is already asking to do it again!

The whole Nuclear Races team were brilliant to work with – despite our trouble making with the transport issues!

Thank you so, so much for allowing us to use the course and organising such a seamless and fun day for our participants. The fundraising stands at over £35k now but more is still coming in. This has surpassed all of our targets and with over 350 people taking part it’s been our biggest fundraiser to date! I’ll send you an update when we have a finalised figure and will keep you posted on any events we have planned so that if you have time you can meet some of the young people that the fundraising money will support.

“I have done a few other obstacle course races before and I was really impressed by this one”

“Support from the Nuclear Races team = excellent. The slide and the water obstacles were really good fun especially with the photographer ready to capture the moment.”

“My highlight was crossing the finishing line knowing that if i could do the Mud Trial, i can do anything”

“Running with my team was hysterical! And the support from the Nuclear Races team was very good”

We arrived on a freezing wet Saturday morning… then the activities started and everyone warmed up!!! From the cheering, laughs and howls it was obvious our girls were having an incredible time!! The instructors led us through the obstacles culminating in the water slide!!!!

Awesome fun great team building event and what a way to break out of lockdown
We will be back!!!! Broomfield girls Fc!

Broomfield Girls Football

As far as team building events go, this was by far the best one I personally have ever been on!!!  Mud, water, fun, fun and just more fun!!

We did the axe throwing and the obstacle course and we achieved what we set out to!  Everyone developed as a team, had to rely on people they didn’t really know, and push themselves completely out of their comfort zones.  I honestly can’t think of a better event that really will make this happen.

In bringing three different companies together, we all gelled as one on this day!

And not only was it a great venue that suited all our needs perfectly, the staff were amazing and couldn’t do anything more to have made the day a complete success!  Thank you Sam, Tracey and Team Nuclear!
